I am sentimental. There are many things and times that bear strong significance in my life. Holidays are special to me because they involve the people that I love.

My favorite holiday is Christmas because of the spirit of love and togetherness. Spending time with my family and special friends brings me a lot of joy. It feels wonderful to surround myself with others spreading good cheer.

Each family gathering during Christmas is held with a theme of gratitude. I take the time to let my loved ones know that I am thankful to have them.

Annual holidays commemorate the ending of one year lived in good faith and positive energy. The special occasions remind me that I am at the beginning of another period when I have the chance to recreate that energy.

With each holiday, I make a mental note of the high points in my life. They provide a foundation for constant thanksgiving.

I tell my loved ones what makes them special to me. It feels good to contribute to the emotional well-being of my loved ones. I share an unbreakable bond with them. That is strengthened by my commitment to share special occasions with them.
